South Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographer ~ Jenny and Ray
I had never photographed a couples wedding without meeting them before hand, but there is always a first for everything. Jenny and Ray are from Philadelphia so I had only spoken with them over the phone before meeting them on their wedding day. Like all other photographers I like to know the couples personalities before working with them…outgoing vs. reserved, laid back vs. on the go. Like all of other brides and grooms I have worked with Jenny and Ray were a lot of fun to work with. They tied the knot back in August in South Lake Tahoe at Saint Theresa Catholic Church and held the reception at the South Lake Tahoe Golf Course. The Lake Tahoe Golf Course has breathtaking views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and amazing grounds. Ray is in the Navy so he was looking his best in his uniform along side his stunning new wife. I love how they incorporated their swords in the ceremony (be sure to check out the pictures below). Congrats Jenny and Ray!

North Lake Tahoe Tahoe Wedding Photographer ~ Matt and Kristy
Matt and Kristy tied the knot at Stanford Pine Chalet in Tahoe City back in October. Just like most venues in the Lake Tahoe basin, the Stanford Pine Chalet has a beautiful view of the amazing Sierras. I just loved the view of the peaks behind the ceremony site. They are an outdoorsy couple, so the venue fit them perfectly. Matt and Kristy really enjoy fishing together, so we found enough time to go down to the Truckee River and fish a little between the ceremony and reception. The fishing hooks for each guest added a great touch to their wedding. They made them and designed cute little boxes for them. Congrats Matt and Kristy!
